CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR IMPENDING WEDDING! LET THE MAGIC BEGIN!'
2007 was a busy wedding year! I met so many wonderful couples who I know are going to be spending long and full lives together. Thank you for the honor of allowing me to officiate at your ceremonies. I especially enjoyed writing, based on your own words and thoughts, what I felt was a perfect ceremony for each couple I worked with. I am a better person for having been a part of your special day! Thank you again for the memories.

2008 has already exceeded my expectations! I have had the honor of officiating at three civil union ceremonies, many winter weddings and June has been busy every weekend thus far with weddings on 6/7/08, 6/14/08, 6/20/08 and 6/21/08. I am looking forward to the summer months as I find myself mostly in Cheshire County, but also venturing into other counties in New Hampshire, as my schedule will allow. Without my husband's constant support, I couldn't travel like I do, so I thank him for creating memories that will last a lifetime. I'm amazed that some of the small towns we've ventured into even exist, and all this we've experienced by virtue of my Justice of the Peace commitments.

W
riting ceremonies and ultimately officiating at a couple's marriage is all about privilege! A thought provoking ceremony is a wonderful segue into married life, a way to affirm and celebrate the decision to become partners in the company of family and friends. That being said, I would consider writing your vows and ceremony an honor. I love the spoken word and weaving traditional or non-traditional vows together with readings of your choice as well as having an understanding of wedding nuances, allows me to achieve a ceremony tailored to each couple. It is hugely satisfying to be a witness to the process of solidifying a promise for the future. If you would like a short, simple ceremony, without any fuss, I can honor that request too. If you prefer to write your own ceremony, but need an officiant to express your feelings for one another, you've come to the right person. I have officiated at weddings as large as two hundred people and as intimate as three people, including the bride and groom. You decide whether you would prefer a religious or non-religious ceremony. As Shakespeare wrote, "the world is your oyster."

Officiating at small country weddings for couples who have lived together for a while, and for any variety of reasons decide to make it official, is a joy. I can usually do something spontaneous so don't hesitate to call me last minute. I have performed remarriages for couples who decide they are happier together than apart, which is very nice and actually not that unusual. If I can't accommodate you, I am more than happy to refer you to another Justice of the Peace. The picture of Mike and Maureen on this, my home page, is from their wedding in Rindge. Their original Justice of the Peace had to have open heart surgery so I stepped in at the last minute. It was an intimate gathering and I'll hold the memory of their wedding in my heart because everyone was so nice and easy to work with. It felt like we had always been friends. I have performed as many as three weddings in one day, because they were in two hour intervals and all close enough so this was manageable. If you look at my calendar and see a specific date booked, don't hesitate to ask about availability. If the locations and times don't overlap I may be able to accommodate you. I pride myself on always looking professional and will inquire about colors so I don't clash with the bridal party.

Grow Old With Me by John Lennon

Grow old along with me
The best is yet to be
When our time has come
We will be as one
God bless our love
God bless our love
Grow old along with me
Two branches of one tree
Face the setting sun
When the day is done
God bless our love
God bless our love
Spending our lives together
Man and wife together
World without end
World without end
Grow old along with me
Whatever fate decrees
We will see it through
For our love is true
God bless our love
God bless our love
